It has been announced that the government have decided to give the biggest amount from the tampon tax – £250,000 – to an anti-abortion group who give one-sided advice to women, instead of providing a fair service. We believe this service puts pressure on women who are already dealing with a difficult and tough decision. The government have yet to give put the money, which means we have an opportunity to encourage them to give the money to groups who tackle domestic violence or support women in other ways.
