The consultation for the new Domestic Abuse Bill opened on 8th March 2018 until 31st May 2018 and will be followed by a formal Government response in the Autumn.
The consultation sought to address domestic abuse at every stage through prevention through to rehabilitation. It sought views across four main themes, with the central aim of prevention running through each:
