To vote in the General Election on 8 June 2017, you need to register by 11:59pm on Monday 22 May 2017. You don’t need to register again if you’ve already registered. Register online via https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
You can get a copy of the electoral registration form on CD, on a British Sign Language video, in Braille, in large print and in various languages from the Electoral Registration Officer at your local authority. You can find their contact details by visiting www.yourvotematters.co.uk and typing in your postcode.
You must apply in advance for postal voting. Make sure your local Electoral Registration Office gets your application by 5pm on Tuesday 23 May 2017. Find out about postal voting via https://www.gov.uk/voting-in-the-uk/postal-voting.
